Pearl always, and I mean always acknowledges passing planes and/or helicopters. I can't exactly remember when this started, but it seems like she's been doing it forever. It doesn't matter what she is doing, inside the house or outside, engrossed in conversation or play. She will immediately stop, listen, and depending on what she hears, point and say plane or copter. I'm sure it won't be long until Trap has her properly identifying different machines.

But today her response is a little different. Today, she points and says bye Nana, I love you.

I think my heart will burst each time.
