Aside from Pearl not understanding why she couldn't use a knife to carve her own pumpkin or completely pen all the pumpkins, project jack-o-lanterns 2010 was still a huge success. It was even warm enough for us to sit on the deck and get down to work. Pearl called the pumpkin guts seaweed and preferred not to touch the insides much because it was "too sticky Mom!".
One more sleep til trick or treating. We can wait!
