First Snowfall
The snowflakes started falling last night just as we were having story time after bath. Pearl ran to every window in the house screaming "winter's coming, winter's coming!". She was very happy and excited and couldn't stop talking about going skiing with Daddy, Uncle Kevin and Mommy. So this morning after breakfast outside she went to experience her first snowfall with Daddy and of course to feed her quail. Then inside for a big cup of hot chocolate, her new favourite drink. This afternoon we're off to buy winter boots, hats, mitts and a snowsuit. Our Australia trip has sidetracked winter clothes shopping, oops!

Way to go, smart daddy! Get Pearl enjoying shoveling snow now so she will do it always. You're way ahead of daddy, Pearl. He never got his first shovel until he was 3. Oh, the wonders of childhood!
