Even though this past tour was only two weeks, with us being sick and cranky it felt so so much longer. It goes without saying, both Pearl and I were over the moon to get the call yesterday that Dad was on his way home. I'm not sure what excited Pearl more, chasing Daddy down the highway as he flew over us, pressing all the buttons in the new helicopter, watching planes land from inside the Kelowna Airport or Daddy simply being home.
Something tells me Daddy takes the cake, this time and every time.
