Mother knows Best

We have a beautiful yard. Yes there's work to be done, OK lots of work. But we can see the potential and we can envision how we want our green space to take shape. The previous owners left us with lots of gardens that we will eventually make our own. We have mature trees: Lilacs, Pines, Peach, Plum, Russian Olive, Cedars, Chestnuts, Japanese Maples. We have our 100+ year old Ponderosa Pine that reaches up into the blue. Not surprising we are visited by lots of birds: Magpies, Sparrows, Chickadees, Morning Doves, Pheasants, Hawks, Quails, Stellar Jays, Blackbirds, Crows, Ravens and yes Robins. We originally thought our carport was an odd choice (given the other nearby options) for our resident Robin family to build their nest. But hey, maybe Mother's really do know best and Pearl is delighted about the special company.
