The kids hunted for treasure along the yarn trail, coloured at the art station, blew bubbles, made water balloons, played on the tramp, snacked on the shady porch, ate cake and then ran off their sugar high in the sprinkler.
Like me, Pearl LOVES a party, the decorations took two days to complete, we potted bright yellow marigolds for party favours and now we start our thank you cards.
