Mother's Day Tea

I was invited to a special Mother's Day tea this morning. Pearl and the rest of her class hosted a lovely party with iced tea and strawberry shortcake. We were serenaded with two sweet songs and of course gifted our pretty hats.

P.S. Pearl had decorated the very top of my hat with coloured marshmallows.  All meticulously glued just so.  Tonight (in secret) Leo pulled them all off and popped them in his mouth.  I caught him too late, the terrible deed done.  We had to promise a very teary Pearl that Dad would buy more marshmellows and help her fix it, in time for Sunday.
