Orange Belt Ceremony

Pearl had an amazing Karate class tonight. Not only was she awarded her orange belt but before class she recited (by heart) to Sensei the student creed and earned her red star, the first of 4 that she can work towards.  

This is the student creed.  

My goal is to become the best person I can be.  

I will achieve this objective by disciplining my body and my mind, 

working to overcome obstacles that may hinder my positive growth.  

I know this will take discipline.  

I am ready to make this commitment to myself 

in order to become the best person I can be and to share this progress with others.  

We are so very proud of you Pearl, it makes us happy to watch you excel in your Karate and we are excited to see what your Karate future brings.  One more step closer to your black belt and that trip to Japan!  We love you!
