Just Dance

This whole week Pearl has been dancing! I enrolled her in dance camp at a local ballet school. Surprisingly enough, when I initially told her about her upcoming dance lessons she flat out refused to go. Looking back I think the word 'school' through her off a bit. Now of course, in true Pearl fashion she wants to head out the door the very second she wakes up and there's tears when its time to leave. Miss Margo has told me Pearl has big potential and that she is a true joy. Pearl listens during class, takes instruction and is happy to dance dance dance.

God help me come Friday - the last day. Perhaps I'll be signing her up for continued classes in the fall. Stay tuned!

I snapped these pics this morning before we left as Miss Margo has a closed door policy during class time. She does have a small window and she's opened the blinds for us parents to sneak a peek. But my daughter is case in point waving and smiling at me in the window.

Leo and I wait patiently outside in the garden now instead.

Watching her at this recreational activity, I can't help but think ahead to her possible future soccer seasons - can't wait!
