Tis the Season

Last year we stumbled upon the White Family Christmas Tree Farm down the road in Coldstream. It was early December, Mr. White himself welcomed us with hot spiced cider and said we were welcome to cut down any tree we'd like 'without' a red ribbon.

Without a red ribbon being key.

We walked the farm and found aisle after aisle of trees with red ribbon. Thankfully we still found a beautiful tree that barely fit in the house and learned afterwards that families visit the farm in late October to reserve a tree.

We never thought we'd be that organized.

But here we are, last weekend we selected another beautiful tree, mapped it out, tied the ribbon and fed the horses apples.

A wonderful way to spend a sunny Saturday afternoon. We're going to have another award worthy tree and I can't wait!
