9 Months and Counting

Happy 9th month Leo Fisher.

In the last 30 days, you've become even faster, stronger, and smarter.

You feel the need to examine and explore everything, cupboards, drawers, cabinets, fireplaces, freezers, toilets. Nothing is uncharted.

You've started chatting and have great talks with Dad, Pearl and I.

You carry your favourite toys from room to room, most recently the wooden mallet.

Two new top middle teeth have arrived.

You had a wonderful visit with Grampa (his glasses were never safe).

You've been cross country skiing, magic carpet riding.

You still dislike being still which continues to make getting dressed, changed or bathed tricky.

You still light up everytime Pearl is near.

You heard your first violin and cello during an impromptu concert in Pearl's music class by some older students. You frooze and listened intently.

You have mastered drinking water from your sippy cup, you SLAM it back and it always makes us laugh.

You attended your first official party. Ok, so it was a birthday party for Pearl's twin friends from school, but you still had a great time, even passed out on their couch.

We all think you're tops and can't wait for the next 30 days to see what new changes you'll surprise us with.

We love you and are so so proud of you.

Every photo of you shows you expressing yourself in some manner. I think perhaps we will never have to wonder what you're thinking about, Leo. You'll likely be right upfront about your thoughts. Love it, and you. Sister, mommy and daddy too.
Hugs to all,
Zaida and Gramma
