Our Extended Family

Yes, I found my Trapper in Lennoxville but we were also gifted with friendships that will last our lifetime and more.

We are all scattered now yet still make time for each other as best we can.

So, of course we were honoured, overjoyed and fortunate to host the Chellew Doucet's this past week. The trio of Auntie Chellew, Uncle D2 and Nigel Baker is unstoppable.

We hiked, explored, danced, skied, played, laughed, cried. We visited parks, lakes, and Silverstar. We fed ducks, read stories, and ate ate ate.

It was easy, it was perfect.

I can't put into words how special and heart warming it always is to be simply be together and now to watch the kids play, hug and kiss. In short, we are family.

Thank you from the bottom of all our hearts for making the trip West. Fingers crossed it was the first of many more to come.

This reunion was a few members short, Shandy + Owen and the Sakson Rovas were missed to say the least.

We love you all so so much and are looking forward to 2013 and the beginning of our annual West-East Coast reunions.
