EPIC day

Today was huge. Epic actually.

We all left the house at 9:30 this morning at returned at 5 tonight. It was Pearl's last day of Snow School. She began as a Ready Teddy in February, graduated to an Eager Elephant and will be a Jumping Joey next year.

She has learned to stop, make pizzas, and now french fries. She rides the magic carpet, the Comet Express and Silver Queen chairs. Pearl skis green and blue runs.  She looks for jumps and trails through the woods. She is comfortable, confident and having the time of her life. So after Lenka presented Pearl with her Star Kids medal and we had family lunch, Pearl and I rode a peanut trail all afternoon. She would have stayed longer, but the groomers were coming out so I was able to convince her it really was time to go meet up with Daddy and Leo.

Leo is her biggest fan, happy to chill in the backpack, go for walks, nap and have the occasional snack.  We love both of you so much, thank you for a day we won't soon forget.

Peanut trail - narrow, bumpy, curvy, tight trail through the trees.  Start preparing for next winter Grampa!
