Dear Leo

Hi Leo. It's Mom.

You turned 10 months this past Tuesday, and caught another cold too. I know its not fun being sick, and you've had more than your fair share these past 10 months. But on the bright side your immune system is getting lots of work and you'll be stronger for it in the long run.

Happy 10 months my little boy. I love you to the moon and back. We all do.

In a nutshell, this is you Leo Fisher at 10 months:

You're still pulling hair out at any opportunity. Pearl and I have suffered repeatedly at your hands. Fistfuls Leo, you take fistfuls each time. At this rate Pearl and I might have to start shopping for wigs.

You trashed a portable phone today. Threw it right in the toilet. Nothing but bowl. You thought that was pretty funny. So we're down a phone. I'll take it out of your future allowance. And what's with your toilet fascination? Must you try to dive head first into all our bowls? Talk about germs - Gross. I know your sister laughs, and I usually have some sort of smile on my face. But really, you can stop that anytime.

And just so you know diaper changes would be easier and much more efficient if you lied still for 30 seconds. This changing on the fly, standing up, mid crawl, is growing a wee bit inconvenient to put it politely. We may have to start potty training asap if this continues.

You are my adventurous boy through and through. You were sampling dirt, sand, rocks, plants and pine needles today while we were gardening. I kept thinking about GG's saying; kids should eat a pound of dirt by the time they're 3. I think it was 3?? I think it was a pound?? Regardless, you are on target.

You wave, you dance, you giggle, you loved being chased.
You scream, you spit up (STILL!)
You open cupboards, drink bath water, and furniture walk.
You don't like strangers, you LOVE your sister.
You sleep well, you eat well.
You have four teeth and your hair is filling in nicely.
You are scared silly of the vacuum.
You strongly dislike getting your face washed or your nose wiped.
You love playing with hammers, balls and any musical instrument.
You are fiercely independent.
You have two naps a day, 2 hours each if everything is working well.
You like grocery shopping and are warming up to the trampoline.
You are content in your backpack and could stay there all day - not that we've tried.
Your new favourite bath toy is the boat the Easter Bunny brought for you.
You sleep on your tummy.
You pull yourself up on everything which can sometimes cause problems (see below)
You gave yourself a bloody nose last week by pulling down one of the kitchen stools.
Your smile lights up any room.
Your eyes are brilliant. You receive many compliments on them.
You are calm in the stroller if its moving, and get quickly impatient/angry if its not.
You love Kev.
 And you still inhale bananas.

You are soo many things Leo.

You are wonderfully complicated, and simply beautiful.

This is you checking out the sand box for the first time today.
