What a day, what a day.
I was gifted with many things today.
Beginning with a beautiful handmade pin from Pearl that she has been working on for weeks at nursery school and successfully kept it all secret. We usually have lengthy detailed chats after school and lately she has answered my usual questioning with: "its a secret Mom, can't tell you!" Well done Pearl, you've inherited your mad secret keeping skills from Daddy. I wore the pin all day, transferring from pj's to clothes.
My Trapper surprised me with new perfume. When I smell good it is all thanks to him, as over the years he has always selected on all scents. Thank you my sweet Trapper.
Then a homemade breakfast of poached eggs, bacon AND pancakes.
Plus a special Mother's Day picnic at a Davison's orchard. We played, rode a tractor, smelled apple blossoms, soaked up the sun and rested in the shade. We ate ate ate. And we had a perfect time together.
Thank you to my lovely family, you are my heart, my soul and I am humbled by your kindness.
I love you.
Happy Mother's Day to all the Mama's in my life.

Beautiful photos, Lisa. When Pearl and Leo are having their differences as teenagers, as all siblings will tend to do, you can look fondly back to the time when they hugged and kissed each other, and Pearl was Leo's idol.
Love,
