Finally

Pearl has been asking about ninja school for the past 8 months. We have watched live Karate matches during the BC Winter Games in Vernon, she was glued to the television during the Olympic Judo coverage, and she is constantly jumping, kicking, and hi-ya'ing all over the place.

But yesterday was her turn.

The excitement was palpable.

Her dream finally realized. 

The first day of Ninja Class (AKA takewon-do class) at the Sundance Martial Art Do-Jang http://www.sundancemartialarts.com/. 

Mr. White is a fourth degree black belt and a wonderful teacher who comes highly recommended in these parts. I could barely get her new Do Bok out of the bag and on her quick enough.

It was wonderful to watch her take everything in, listen, and have the time of her life.  It is a perfect fit and I predict she will be quite happy for a while to come.  In true Pearl fashion she will take this and RUN with it.  As always Pearl Mom and Dad are so so so proud of you.
