Thanksgiving Weekend 2012

Lots of action this long weekend - Phew

We spent Saturday afternoon at our local Pumpkin Patch with our friends the Shupes. The kids had a ball running through the corn, filling the wagon with gourds and squash and of course hunting for the best pumpkin. We brought home quite the bounty most of which was used in decorating our front porch for Halloween Sunday morning. (I love Halloween so we do things plenty early around here).

And as per our tradition we enjoyed an Indian feast with Uncle Kev and Tracey Sunday night.  Lucky for me, I have enough delicious leftovers to last me all week!  We woke up this morning and went for a hike to Rattlesnake Point, and Pearl and I planted some new flowers this afternoon while Leo had a 3 and half hour nap!  Its been sunny and warm just the way we like it, fingers crossed it lasts a few more weeks.

The only thing missing in our lovely weekend, was you my Trapper.  We love you, promise to make you a pumpkin pie when you're home!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone.  We are sincerely thankful for all our wonderful family and friends as always.
