Happy Halloween

Halloween 2012 was a grand success. The rains stopped in time for us to trick or treat without umbrellas and the kids scored tons of loot. Leo was a quick study and by the first house he had everything figured out. Our snow leopard and crocodile were a big hit with the neighbours and were treated like East Hill Halloween royalty.

As per our tradition Ali and Riley came trick or treating with us and the kids had a ball running from house to house and then afterwards running around our house answering the door and giving candy to the big kids.

Pearl had a grand total of 3 costumes this year.  She was Tinkerbell for her Halloween Party at school, Snow Leopard for trick or treating and Super Hero Pearl for handing out candy.  She did her Snow Leopard face paint ALL by herself, even decided she didn't like her first red nose, and confidently switched to orange.

Pearl capped off her night with a Halloween bath in the dark with Riley and some glow sticks, heckling the big kids from the window, screaming and giggling the entire time.  It was great.  I love Halloween, we all do.

Leo slowly warmed to his crocodile hood, but couldn't resist the urge to yank it off with authority now and then.

The Halloween Fairy even visited our house this year...did she make it to your house?

It would be wonderful to see into your beautiful little head and watch the calculations as your try to figure out what exactly is happening, Leo. We can't of course, so we're left to just enjoy how wonderful you both look, mummy too.
Love to all,
