Santa casually mingled amongst the tables and everyone was able to visit, sit on his knee and chat for as many times and as long as you wished. All while dining on lots of yummy food, doesn't get much better than that in my books.
Leo wanted nothing to do with Santa's lap but was content to sit beside him with Daddy close by. While Pearl on the other hand chatted, asked a few questions and put in her and her brother's requests - "a teeter-totter, a rocking horse, and a toy truck for Leo". Santa gave the kids some toys and a ginger bread decorating loot bag which was put to good use asap.
Thanks for taking the time to see us Santa, we know how busy things are up in the North Pole right now. Merry Christmas and we'll be watching for you on the 24th!

That's Okay Leo - your mother did not want to sit on Santa's lap at your age, either!! Another year, maybe.....
Pearl, you're certainly relaxed during your exchange with Santa. I don't remember if you were as cautious as Leo is, when you were first introduced to Santa. Leo, you'll not take long in figuring out how important the guy in the red suit is.
Hugs and kisses all around.
