Christmas 2012 Review Part 1

Every year Pearl bakes treats for all the neighbours.

She's an integral part of each step: selecting the special Christmas tins, choosing the recipes, the baking, the packing and the delivering.

We all get bundled up, put on our Santa hats (the boys wore reindeer antlers this year) and spread holiday cheer. We even sang carols when each door opened this year, which was very well received by our East Hill VIP's.

This tradition was more difficult to complete this year than in year's past. Not only no Nana to assist but we were all hit with a bad flu, mine lingering the longest. But we persevered (Momma had to take breaks sitting on the floor) because I for one love watching Pearl's excitement with the cookies cutters and her bright smile as she walks from door to door happy beyond measure and proud as punch.

Tis the season!
