Christmas Hatch

Three baby chicks decided it was time to bust out of their eggs right in the middle of Christmas dinner. The timing was more than perfect, the kids and our guests were all VERY impressed.  Since then, they've dried out and have been moved to a new home under a cozy heat lamp.  Pearl has named the chicks (Sandy, Eek & Pick) who have started eating and drinking.  And we all find ourselves coming back to check on them every chance we get.  The house is now filled with constant cute little chirps.
