A fancy brunch, a personal and private visit with Santa and cookie decorating, what more could you ask for!
The kiddies had a good ole chat with St. Nick and it went something like this:
LEO: I went snowboarding and Pearl is a skier.
SANTA: I know a few professional skiers and boarders but the most important part is to have fun.
PEARL: What are the names of all the reindeer? Dad said there's one called Muffin.
SANTA: Why of course I know all the names. I'd be in trouble if I couldn't call them all. There's Donner, Dasher, Prancer, Vixen, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen. And I think there's a Muffin in training back at the stables.
Leo then asked for a tiger, to which Santa replied yes of course a Diego (in reference to the sidekick of Dora the explorer which my kids are completely unaware, never seen the show). Leo then confidently corrected Santa, a little louder, no a TIGER. Santa replied oh yes a tiger, a stuffed tiger you mean. Leo said NO A REAL TIGER, even louder. Santa thought it was pretty funny.
Pearl surprisingly asked for a barbie. For weeks now she's never had a clear answer when asked and at times even said she doesn't need anything. Her letter for Santa was filled with questions about Santa and if he's been able to get some skiing in yet...melts your heart, doesn't it?
The visit and conversation was longer and more detailed, but I let Pearl and Leo have their time with the big guy so I didn't catch all of it.
We'll see what Santa brings us all on the 25th ;)

Get him a tiger. Also, judging by Santa's dirty yellow beard it appears he's been smoking darts all summer.
