The deer have been coming by to visit a couple times a week. Usually the same family, which Pearl and Leo get a real kick of. They roam East Hill year round and our house in one of their usual stops. Momma was balancing on her back two legs this morning eating berries out of our Mountain Ash tree.
But the eggs are something a little different. We began a special family project today. We assembled our incubator and are now responsible for 7 eggs who will soon become baby chicks. Its a 21 day cycle which puts us right on track for a Christmas hatching. We are all super excited and can't wait to watch the whole process unfold in front of our very eyes - literally!
