GRADE ONE

After weeks of a province wide teacher's strike, we woke and prepared for Pearl's first day of French Immersion Grade One this morning. A little hectic getting out the door after an extra long holiday but we had plenty of time to walk to school and talk about all her thoughts and hopes for her coming year.

Madame Buhler greeted us with smiles and Pearl lucked out with a few familiar faces in her new class, most notably her good friend Seth.  All reports at pick up were glowing so all in all, a very big successful day for Pearl.

Pearl, I snuggled you for a bit while you slept last night, remebering just how little you once were and reminding myself just how great you've become.   Here's to an amazing year at your new school.  I will be with you every step of the way.
