Othello Tunnels
While in Hope we couldn't pass up the chance to hike the Othello Tunnels. Found in the beautiful Coquihalla Gorge, five tunnels were built through solid granite in 1914 as part of the Kettle Valley Railway.
We had a ball exploring the tunnels and checking out the mighty Coquihalla River. We had to don our hoods for the drippy tunnel ceilings and practiced focusing on the light to make our way through the dark.
