Board Breaking

Our karate filled weekend continued as our dojo hosted a board breaking and bbq fundraiser this afternoon.  Sempei Zac who mentors both Pearl and Leo is competing in the Karate World Championships this fall and to help pay for his trip we purchased boards and watched as he and Sensei broke over 100 in 60 seconds.  It was action packed!  I was definitely screaming and cheering them on.  The kids had decorated their boards and had fun finding all the broken pieces to bring back home as souvenirs!
