Leo decided he would let go of Daddy while in the water AND jump off the boat. With us all cheering him on, Leo jumped and jumped and swam and swam all afternoon, finally getting out of the water at 7pm tonight! Up until yesterday he was always a baby koala on Daddy, keeping his grip nice and tight. But not today!
And Pearl was just as brave, working on swimming further and further away from the boat without thinking fishies will come and eat her.
Funny what kids think about lake water, I remember having similar thoughts while swimming at Bowker.
We were both very proud parents driving home tonight, so happy to see both children try something new and succeed so brilliantly.
We love you both so much, here's to many more happy days on the boat and all the adventures it brings.
