Storm Watching

I like thunder storms. I remember watching them as a kid and growing up in Ottawa we had our fair share. We rarely get a good old fashion storm here, dark clouds move along the mountain tops and generally skip our valley. But this afternoon one decided to stay and put on a show.

So I snuggled up the kids in the porch and we watched, in an attempt to learn that thunder can be cool, not always scary.   We dined, read library books, listened and watched.  May take a few more good crackers but they're starting to come around.
