And Pearl's right into it just as much as Trap.
We here this all week long:
"Is tonight Hockey Night in Canada Dad?" No Pearl its Tuesday.
"Is tonight Hockey Night in Canada Dad?" No Pearl its Wednesday.
You get the idea.
Trap and Pearl have their own mini sticks, Pearl even has a goalie mask, and they play during most games getting all fired up. Pearl loves it. Trap has taken the time to explain the game to Pearl and help her learn the VIP's of the league. So far she knows:
Dadddy's team AKA the Leafs, Grampa's Team AKA the Canadians and Vancouver's team AKA the Canucks. She can recognize these teams plus the Penguins by their jersey's and loves trying to find Daniel Sedin when the Canucks are playing.
And the first intermission with Don Cherry is a big highlight. Don Cherry makes her laugh, she even recognizes Don on his commercials.
With all that said, we were watching Hockey Night in Canada last night, the first intermission comes on, the camera pans to Don and Pearl's states very matter of factly:
"Hey Ma, looks like Don's playing dress up tonight."
I split a gut and answered, "Yes babe, it sure does."
This was his suit that spurred Pearl's observation.

This should be forwarded to Hockey Night in Canada - it just may make Don Chery's Day

How long b4 Pearl realizes Don's a tool?
She hasn't experienced the true hockey experience untill she spends an evening listening to the game outside Daryl's place,on the car radio amongst a slew of empty Pilsner cans.
Through the eyes of children, Pearl. We love your honesty. You're too much, darling.
Love,
