Nigel Baker and Pearl Eva

There was anticipation for weeks, letters were sent back and forth.  Plans were discussed about all the things we could do when our special friends finally arrived.  Pearl was excited, we all were.

The pure joy at the airport was sincere and heartfelt and made me smile.  Each day there was tenderness, happiness, and enthusiasm.  Yes, we did have some 'sharing' obstacles to overcome but this friendship is for keeps.

Pearl has been asking about Nigel all day, recounting all the silly Nigel things that happened, letting us know that she didn't want Nigel to leave, and that she wants her friends back right NOW.
